Source program

A source program (child) is associated with a subject program (parent).

It provides flexibility to model a variety of more complex reinsurance structures by applying contract terms of the source program prior to passing its contract losses or losses net of the source program terms through the subject program's terms. It also provides flexibility in allowing different "sources" of loss to contribute to the subject program's overall structure. Source programs are tagged as an assessment program in Companies > [Company] > Programs > Relationships > Assessment Program.
