Program loss adjustments

Program Loss Adjustments (PLA) is one feature of Verisk's Advanced Loss Modification (ALM) (ALM) offering.

This feature allows users to make educated adjustments at the program level, based on their knowledge about loss experience.

Users can adjust loss results when:

  • Model results deviate from observed loss history.

  • They want to adjust losses to match an alternative set of model results.

  • Exposures deviate from standard assumptions in the Industry Loss File.

  • They want to account for effects that cannot be explicitly modeled explicitly for various reasons.

Users apply Program Loss Adjustments in the Program pane on the EP adjustment tab.
