  The maximum loss that can be incurred by the layer across all occurrences within each year.

Coverage rate

Coverage rate indicates the percentage of company loss of that particular LOB to consider when applying financial terms.

These LOB's are applied for both market share and CLF-based programs. Manipulation of the percentage allows users to exclude all or a portion of the loss from each LOB. Note that the Offshore and MPCI Analysis - China lines of business are specific to a particular model (Verisk U.S. Hurricane Model for Offshore Assets and Verisk Multiple Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) Model for China, respectively) and include dialogs (click the associated ) to filter in greater detail.
