Relationships
A reinsurance structure is a collection of programs associated with a company.

Relationships are the way this collection of programs interacts with each other.
A company can have multiple reinsurance structures and any program can belong to multiple reinsurance structures.
To establish relationships for a program and view and manipulate these relationships visually:
Procedure
- In the Program pane select the Relationships tab.
- Drag an existing program from the Available Program Templates pane onto the canvas, or, drag a new program type from New Programs onto the canvas. If the program is new you will be prompted for a program name. A new program is auto populated with defaults established in the Administration Console.
-
Drop the program onto another program to establish a relationship between the two.
Enter relationship information into the Create Relationship dialog box:
-
Parent or child
-
Relationship (Source or inuring)
-
Inuring Flow (All Downstream Programs, Next Program Only)
-
Perspective (Company, contract, or net retained)
-

More than one program can be selected and dropped onto another program at one time; relationships are established in one dialog. A program can also be dropped onto the canvas but not onto another program and have no relationships. The arrows connecting the programs indicate the type of relationship (sourcing and assessment or inuring); refer to the key in the lower left corner of the pane for more information.
