Layers

Establish layers, step-layers, and treaty terms for a new program (or to modify for an existing program).

Companies > [Company] > Programs > [Program] > Layers

Procedure

  1. In the Program Details pane, select the Layers tab.

    For Cat Bond programs, refer to the topic Catbond layer.

  2. Modify the default layer 1, or click to add a new layer, or click to add a new step-layer.
  3. For each layer (or step-layer), select (highlight) the layer and then establish terms and details.

    Program Category 1 - 5

    Program User Defined Categories (UDCs) are used to assign predefined meaningful and useful categories and classifications.

    To assign a UDC, select the program row, locate the appropriate Program Category column, and then select an item from the Program Category list. Click x to clear your selection.

    The default names for the program category (and corresponding column title) can be overwritten in the Administration Console.

  4. Below the terms, select the perils to associate with this layer. Each layer can be associated with one or more perils.
  5. Establish triggers to associate with the currently selected layer.
  6. Select the Program Options tab and then define a target for the program and make other adjustments.
  7. Select the Relationships tab to adjust relationships between programs. This is where you can specify inuring and sourcing program relationships.
  8. Select the EP Adjustments tab and edit as needed.
  9. Click to save your changes.
  • Right-click on a layer to use the copy and paste functions.

  • To delete a existing layer, select it and then click .
