Risk retention

Risk retention is the value below which the total losses are not assumed by the layer.

Risk retention applies only to treaties of the Per-Risk treaty type. If the field is left blank, this specifies no risk retention. This value is not considered in analyses. This value is set in the program Terms pane () and must be a numeric value between 0Reinsurance > Programs > [Program] > Layers > Terms: Risk Retention and 99,999,999,999,999.
