CATRADER

Verisk proprietary software application for the reinsurance market.

CATRADER is a legacy application which performed comprehensive catastrophe loss analyses using aggregate exposure data to generate summary losses and event losses for both company and contract losses with user-specified return periods aggregated by contract, layer, or states/counties. CATRADER is now retired. Its audience was professionals who evaluate a wide variety of risk transfer alternatives. It provided investors, risk managers, analysts and underwriters with vital information and data with which they could analyze and evaluate traditional and non-traditional risk transfer contracts.
