Required information
These location information schemes require the following information:
- The CRESTA location information scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid CRESTA name or code.
- The Departmento District scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid two-digit state code or state name in the Area field and a valid six-digit district code or district name in the Subarea field.
- The CRESTA S.A. District scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid CRESTA name or code and a valid six-digit district code or district name in the Subarea field.
Applicable geocode match levels
Verisk Synergy Studio matches these sets of information at the following levels:
- At a CRESTA centroid geocode match level if you supply the country and CRESTA (CRESTA location information scheme)
- At a County centroid geocode match level if you supply the country, state (area), and district (subarea) (Departmento District location information scheme)
- At a County centroid geocode match level if you supply the country, CRESTA, and district (CRESTA S.A. District location information scheme)

Consequently, if you enter location data for Peru using the Departmento District location information scheme, Verisk Synergy Studio transforms the state information in the Area field and the district information in the Subarea field into the corresponding CRESTA name and code and district name and code to meet model requirements, thereby matching at a county centroid geocode match level.
