Required information

These location information schemes require the following information:

  • The District scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid one- or two-digit District code or district name in the Area field.
  • The District Postal scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid District code or name in the Area field and a valid one- or two-character postal code in the Postal field.

Applicable geocode match levels

Verisk Synergy Studio matches these sets of information at the following levels:

  • At an AREA geocode match level if you supply the country and district (area) (district location information scheme)
  • At a Postal Code centroid geocode match level if you supply the country, district (area), and postal code (District postal location information scheme)
Important:

If you enter area and postal data together, Verisk Synergy Studio geocodes the data to the AREA geocode match level while retaining the postal data. This is because area data is of a higher resolution than postal data in the Bahamas.
