Find non-modeled countries

How to find the non-modeled countries and CRESTA codes that Verisk Synergy Studio supports for those countries.

Refer to the tGeography table in the Geography database. Refer to the Country Data Lookup Tool available on the Client Portal, for a list of countries and their model statuses.

Procedure

  1. Use the following SQL query to view a list of all countries that you can import: 
    
SELECT
[CountryName]
, [CountryCode]
FROM [Geography].[dbo].[tGeography]
WHERE [AreaScheme] = '1006'
ORDER BY [CountryName]
  2. Use the following SQL query to view a list of unsupported CRESTA scheme paths: 
    
SELECT
[CountryName]
, [CountryCode]
, [CRESTACode]
, [CRESTAName]
FROM [Geography].[dbo].[tGeography]
WHERE [AreaScheme] = '9998'
ORDER BY [CountryName], [CRESTACode]

    These scheme paths belong to a non-modeled country or to a modeled country where the CRESTA resolution is too coarse for modeling.
