Required information

These location information schemes require the following information:

  • The CRESTA location information scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid CRESTA name or code.
  • The CRESTA District scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid CRESTA name or code and a valid one- to two-digit district code or district name in the Subarea field.
  • The CRESTA District Postal scheme requires the country name, abbreviation, or code, as well as a valid CRESTA name or code, a valid district name or code in the Subarea field, and a valid six-digit postal code or postal name in the Postal field.

Applicable geocode match levels

Verisk Synergy Studio matches these sets of information at the following levels:

  • At a CRESTA centroid geocode match level if you supply the country and CRESTA (CRESTA location information scheme)
  • At a County centroid geocode match level if you supply the country, CRESTA, and district (subarea) name or code (CRESTA District location information scheme)
  • At a Postal Code centroid geocode match level if you supply the country, district (subarea) name or code, and postal name or code (CRESTA District Postal location information scheme)
