- Verisk Synergy Studio location information schemes
  Verisk Synergy Studio supports one or more location information schemes for supplying non-street-level location data for exposures in each modeled country.
  - Specifying location information
    Before importing exposure data into Verisk Synergy Studio, you must specify location information for each of your exposures.
    - Expected location information types
      When supplying location information, you can specify either location names or the corresponding location codes.
    - Importance of specifying codes
      While your location data may include both location names and location codes, Verisk recommends specifying location codes whenever possible.
    - Supplying non-street-level location data
      Verisk Synergy Studio uses its area information database to match location data that you input at a specific geocode match level.
    - Supplying U.S. street-level address data
      Verisk Synergy Studio now uses the Verisk US GeoPin Geocoder as the default solution for U.S. street address geocoding.
    - Disaggregation
      Verisk Synergy Studio handles disaggregation as part of loss analyses, not as part of import and geocoding processes.
    - Premium International Geocoding
      Premium International Geocoding is an optional, licensed feature for high-resolution, address/street level geocoding.
    - Supplying geocodes
      If you choose to include and retain (that is, preserve) specific geocodes (and the corresponding country codes) for exposures, Verisk Synergy Studio uses these geocodes directly.
    - Geocoding with country and city data
      For certain countries and cities, Verisk Synergy Studio can geocode locations that were imported with only country and city data.
      - Countries with city input support
        Countries for which you can provide only country and city data for geocoding, subject to the constraints previously discussed.
    - Resolution precedence
      Verisk Synergy Studio geocodes at highest resolution possible with available data for a country and model.
  - Remapping
    Verisk Synergy Studio may remap a set of location data that you have entered to another set of location data in either of the following circumstances.
