Beginning in 2014, postings concerning industry take-up rates have been provided on the Client Portal.

Includes Excel files containing the same rates for a number of countries and indexed take-up rates for selected countries identified in the following document noted below (first bullet item).

The rates in the indexed take-up rate files reflect industry exposure change factors, which are provided to scale industry losses for selected countries such that they are current through the end of the appropriate calendar year, depending on the country. This is done in lieu of providing a full Industry Exposure Database update for those countries. For more information on the industry exposure change factors and how to use them, please consult either of the following documents also available on the Client Portal.

Please note that the exposure change factors are intended for use only in generating estimates of Verisk industry loss, and not for use in analyzing programs in Touchstone Re that use sums insured exposure data or Company Loss Files (CLFs) as the basis of analysis results. No adjustments are necessary for such programs.
