Manage exposures
Some information on managing exposures.
Exposure sets are collections of data that measure vulnerability to loss, usually expressed in dollars or units. In Touchstone Re one company can be associated with multiple exposure sets. Each exposure set, however, is unique to the company and may be associated with one or many programs within that company.
Exposures are imported, manually entered, or copy/pasted into the Exposure Sets pane; this pane is associated with a company. During import, the company may already exist or may be created on-the-fly.
These are ways to manage exposures:
-
Import exposures from outside the company (), or from inside the company (). In either case, the exposure will be associated with a company.
-
To build a new exposure set, click
in the
Exposure Sets pane. -
Manage existing exposure sets in the Exposure Sets pane:
-
Sort
exposure sets by any of the following
columns: name, any of the exposure types (e.g., sums insured), created or
modified date, and description. -
Add or modify a description for an exposure set in the Description text box.
-
To rename an exposure set, open the Exposure Set pane for the set and then update the name field.
-
Delete an exposure set by selecting it in the list (row turns green) and then clicking
.
-
All updates to the Exposure Set pane are saved automatically.
