Data

Overview of Touchstone Re data.

Verisk generates and maintains over 55 proprietary models which capture how catastrophes behave and impact the built environment for a variety of perils. These models are based on sophisticated simulation methods and powerful computer programs.

All models have simulation years, event IDs, and calendar days (Events are sorted by calendar day.), which allows Touchstone Re to easily apply starting events in the order they occur in the simulation year.

For a complete and current list of models available, go to the Client Portal (login required), and view the document Vintage of Verisk Peril Models. You may need to search for "peril models" and sort by "relevancy" to locate the document.
