Models

Highlight of models used in Touchstone Re.

Verisk generates and maintains over 55 proprietary models which capture how catastrophes behave and impact the built environment for a variety of peril types. These models are based on sophisticated simulation methods and powerful computer programs.

These models have simulation years, event IDs, and calendar days (Events are sorted by calendar day.), which allows Touchstone Re to easily apply starting events in the order they occur in the simulation year.
