Custom models

The ability to build custom models is one feature of the Advanced Loss Modification offering.

Each custom model requires the following items:

A user-created Damage Factor File (DFF) to support any country-supported peril (for countries supported by Touchstone Re), including: earthquake, flood, tropical cyclone, severe thunderstorm, winter storm and wildfire.
Define custom Lines of Business (LOBs).

Touchstone Re calculates losses for custom models by multiplying event damage factors by custom sums insured and then applying reinsurance treaty terms defined in Touchstone Re to produce contract losses. Users can run analyses at the same time for custom models and Verisk models.
