Before You Begin

Before you proceed, review Industry Loss Estimates.

Procedure

  1. In Touchstone Re, open the company and then open the program that you created for this particular Industry Loss Estimates analysis.
  2. In the Program Details pane, click .
  3. Verify that the program you want to analyze is displayed for the Program setting; if it is not displayed, click to browse to the intended program.
  4. In the New Loss Analysis pane:
    1. Analysis Settings tab:
      • Select an Event Set. Use either of the following for an Industry Loss analysis:

        • World All Perils (10K Time Dep Hybrid)

        • World All Perils (10K Warm SST Hurr, Time Dep Hybrid)

If you cannot locate the event set you want to use, click to browse other locations.

      • If necessary, enter a specified date range for this analysis; the default date range will be the program-specific date range.

      • The Demand Surge setting here overrides the same setting at the program level.

      • Adjust other settings as necessary.

    2. Output Options tab:
      • Set up financial perspectives by specifying zone sets for the reinsurer perspective and the cedant perspective.

    3. Analysis Management tab:
      • Currency rate and number of cores can be adjusted.

  5. Update the analysis name Use a meaningful name to differentiate the analysis. Include program type, event set, and abbreviation of options selected. For example: GU US Ind Insured 2015 All Peril.
  6. Click Run.
  7. To monitor the progress of this task, open the Activity Monitor.

Use the filter tools if necessary to locate your submission.
