Touchstone(Re) service pack 13.2
This service pack addresses a variety of issues in 13.0/13.1.
- Detailed loss
- Addressed an issue for contracts with layers and sublimits where participation limit values were inconsistently calculated and stored depending on how the contract was saved.
- Export
- Addressed an issue with LOB mapping for Caribbean countries: LOB Residential (RES) will be converted to Building (BLD) during export for all Caribbean countries so it will be recognized in Touchstone Re and will not fail import.
- Addressed an issue where standard deviation for the net of pre-Cat loss perspective, was missing from Event Loss CSV exports. This fix applies to all Event Loss CSV exports, including the Event Loss by Portfolio export.
- Premium geocoding
- While using Precisely geocoding (Premium Geocoding) in Touchstone during import, locations after ambiguous address were not being geocoded correctly. With this fix, we will pick last response from Precisely where Precisely have fuzzy match and multiple response for a location.
- Geospatial
- Restored the ability to generate geospatial losses for zones created using the Geospatial Zone filter at the postal code level when SubareaName and SubareaCode are NULL (Known Issue 459).
- Significantly improved runtime performance for geospatial ring analysis on large exposure portfolios when the Remove Overlapping Rings option is enabled. This improvement applies specifically to the Grid Ring and Dynamic Ring Placement options in Touchstone geospatial.
- Addressed an issue where geospatial gross losses for layered locations were calculated at the coverage level rather than the total-loss level, causing location-level participation to be applied incorrectly. This fix ensures that participation is applied at the total-loss level and adjusted losses are correctly rolled up into the appropriate layers (Known Issue 457).
- AIREvents database
- Verisk Earthquake Model for the Middle East: In v11.5, some stochastic events of type Background Seismicity were updated to Induced Seismicity, however in v13 these were incorrectly reverted to background seismicity. This fix corrects the label to Induced seismicity to match the 11.5 update.
- Verisk Typhoon Model for the Northwest Pacific: Stochastic and marquee historical events had the latitude and longitude for each landfall flipped. They are now placed in the correct column fields. (Touchstone Re Known Issue 159)
- Verisk Multiple Peril Crop Insurance Model for the United States: The EventID column had been populated with too many digits so the IDs were no longer unique due to overlap with Model 70. The EventIDs have been fixed to be the correct length.
Important: The Touchstone(Re) 13.2
service pack includes 13.1 software changes but not the model data package. The model
data installer package must be installed separately if you are installing on top of
v13.0. The link for that package can be grabbed from the Download Manager. You can install the 13.2
service pack on top of Touchstone(Re) version
of 13.0 or v13.1.
