Detach a database

Steps to detach a database for Touchstone Re.

Tools > Data Source Manager > Detach

You must unregister a database before you detach it.

Note:

If you detach a database, you can delete the log files for the results databases. Touchstone Re creates new, blank log files when you re-attach a detached database.

Procedure

From the Touchstone Re global menu, select Tools > Data Source Manager
Select the database that you want to detach.

A check mark appears in the first column for the selected database.

Note:
The default Exposure (AIRExposureRe) and Result (AIRResultRE) databases cannot be detached.
Click Detach.
Click Reload to refresh the list.
