Associate results to an exposure database

Steps to associate Touchstone Re results to an exposure database.

Tools > Data Source Manager

When attaching a database, the Touchstone Re will automatically check if the result database was created on this server and associate it with the exposure database.

A Results database that is associated with the server's exposure database will have the ability to:

View company and portfolio results in the user interface
Allow for result exports
Submit new loss results to that database from new or existing company and portfolio

A result database that is not associated with the server's exposure database will:

Be flagged in the Data Source Manager as incompatible with a triangle icon
Not be able to have results viewed from the user interface
Not be able to export loss results exported using Export
Be able to have loss results queried uring the SQL Server Management
Not be able to have new losses submitted to it

Procedure

To associate loss results from a database to a new or existing project:

From the global menu, select Tools > Data Source Manager
Attach the Results database you wish to associate
Touchstone Re will automatically check if the result database is compatable with the exposure databse on that server
