CLF combiner

Steps to combine loss files.

Tools > CLF Combiner

Use the CLF Combiner to merge loss files (e.g., CLFs, DLFs, ULFs) for use in a single program analysis.

Procedure

  1. Select Tools > CLF Combiner.
  2. In the Combine CLFs dialog box identify one or more files; click Add from folder or Add Files and make a selection.
    Note:

Enter a valid shared network path (UNC) to the folder/file or the folder/file will not be found.

The selected files are listed in the dialog box and can be deselected using the associated check box. Selections may also be deleted.

  3. To verify that the selected files can be combined, click Verify.

If the verification completed with warnings click at the bottom of the dialog box for more information.

  4. To combine selected files, click Next.
  5. Select or enter the following as appropriate:
    • A location for the output file if selecting the Output to File option; this must be a different location than the location of the input files.

    • A new or existing company name if selecting the Combine and Import option.

    • A base file name (the name of the resulting .evi file and applied to related file as appropriate).

    • Comments to describe the combined file.

  6. Click Combine to proceed.

Results

The combined CLF will include header information that describes the files that were used to produce the combined file. If the combine completes with errors click at the bottom of the dialog box for more information. A log file (txt) is produced once the files are combined. View the status of this merger in the Activity Monitor; use the filter tools if necessary to locate your submission.
