Event distribution to ULF model settings

Steps to apply custom settings to individual models after the Event distribution to ULF: sourceevent distribution is converted to a ULF.

Tools > Convert Event Distribution to ULF: Model Settings

Procedure

Model settings, by default, are "global" meaning they apply to all models in the list. These default settings can be modified in the Global Model Settings section of the Model Settings pane.

To apply custom settings to individual models:

  1. In the Model Settings pane:
    1. Enable the Specify custom settings by model toggle.

      Once enabled, the global settings no longer apply to any of the models in the list.

    2. Adjust the demand surge, applies to area, and LOB settings for individual models as necessary.
  2. Optionally, enable or disable the Close after Conversion check box.
  3. Click Validate to validate the records in the source file are ready for conversion.
  4. Click Convert.
  5. If applicable, click Close to exit ImportExpress.
