Import UNICEDE2 data

Import UNICEDE/2 exposure data.

Import > Exposure > UNICEDE/2

Procedure

To import exposure data that is in the aggregate UNICEDE/2 format:

  1. Select Import > Exposure > UNICEDE/2.

    The default import type is "UNICEDE/2".

  2. On the Import Data tab:
    1. In the File Selection area, click to browse to the UNC folder containing the target input file and then select the file.
    2. In the Source area:

      1. Review the Exposure grid and clear the check box for any perils that you do not want to include.

      2. If necessary, select a different currency rate table.

    3. In the Destination area:

      1. Select a company or enter a company name (to create a new company).

      2. Select an existing exposure set or enter an exposure set name (to create a new exposure set). If you select an existing exposure set, choose whether to overwrite it or append to it.

      3. Select an import year.

  3. Optionally, click Verify.

    If a warning message appears, click it for information.

  4. Select the Contact tab to view information associated with this exposure set.
  5. Optionally, clear the Close on Import check box if you want to continue importing items.
  6. Click Import.

    If a warning message appears, click it for information.

  7. If applicable, click Close to exit ImportExpress.

Results

The task appears in the Activity Monitor queue. After the activity is complete, Touchstone Re opens the exposure set.
