China disaggregation

Use the China Disaggregation tool to import exposures and programs for mainland China.

Import > China Disaggregation

This import type is not limited to importing the two resolutions supported in the Industry Exposure Database—province (low resolution) and county (high resolution); the tool can also import city-level exposures. The tool is especially useful because the Chinese government provides different agricultural loss protection in each province, some at city-level resolution. The tool disaggregates these exposures and their premiums to this finer-level resolution using information from the Industry Exposure Database. Multiple layers can be established automatically, including limits and retentions as well as covered geographic area and perils.

The tool provides control over which provinces, cities, and/or counties are included and excluded. It also includes an option to disaggregate exposures from lower-resolution areas to high-resolution weight by industry exposure.
