Import AM Best premiums

Note:

The first time new premium data is imported, default companies and default exposure sets for the premium data are created. If new exposure data is imported for companies that have been previously imported the data will be added to the respective exposure year for all three perils supported (earthquake, fire, wind). If data is imported to update existing company details or existing exposure values the data will be overwritten.

Procedure

Select Import > AM Best Premiums.
In the import dialog box:
1. Select a source file; this must be from a UNC folder.
  
  U.S. files use the extension .DAT; Canadian files use the extension .txt.
2. The file type will auto-populate according to the file selected: AM Best Canada, or AM Best US.
3. The year will also auto-populate according to the file; the year must be compatible with the years supported in the Touchstone Re installation, the most recent 5 years..
Click Import to initiate the import.
