Zone set manager

Zone Set Manager enables you to define and manage zones and zone sets.

Using Zone Set Manager requires a license.

A zone set is an organizational unit that enables you to group geographic areas, called "zones", or, sometimes, an accumulation area. A zone set contains one or more zones.

When the Zone option is enabled in Output Options, Touchstone Re can accumulate exposures in zone sets during an analysis. You can analyze zonal accumulations in the loss analysis results grid.

The Compatibility option "Aggregate" indicates whether Touchstone Re supports the areas or subareas in a given zone for each analysis type. The green indicator tells you that the zone set is compatible for the specified analysis while the gray indicator tells you that the zone set is not compatible.

In Touchstone, you can create zones with geographic areas up to, when appropriate, postal-level resolution. In Touchstone Re, zip (postal) codes are not available for inclusion in a zone set at this time; they appear in the common user interface because users can create zones in Touchstone Re and share them to Touchstone business units, and vice-versa. In the Touchstone Re Zone Set Manager the Compatibility indicator for "Aggregate" turns gray when zip (postal) codes are selected.

There is a limit of 250 zones or zone set combinations per analysis.
