Import/export zone sets
Use the tools in the Zone Set Manager to import and export one or more zones sets. This is useful when transferring zone information.

You can transfer zone information between Touchstone and Touchstone Re, from one release to another, and between business units. Clients no longer need to waste time recreating zones. Zone sets are typically brought forward during an upgrade; however, in situations when a new installation is necessary, zone sets from a prior release can be imported. Some things to keep in mind:
- Import/export files are CSV format.
- [Touchstone only] zones can be imported from an existing Admin boundary in the Administration Console.
- Import ignores geographic information that has changed or is no longer supported .
- The name of each zone to import must be unique.
- A subset of a zone can not be imported or exported.
- Validate the zone(s) during import to make sure they make sense.
- If a model is updated with geography information, zones associated with the model do not get included in the release upgrade.
- Multiple zones can be imported or exported at a time.
Log files of import and export activity are generated.
