HPC resource management
HPC Resource Management provides tools to configure HPC (High Performance Computing) resources.

These tools enable you to:
-
Associate existing HPC node groups with business units, roles, and activity types.
-
Set the minimum and maximum number of cores or nodes.
Cores are used as a resource unit type for the NGM HPC task, instead of nodes (which were used in the 2022 (10.0) release). Cores are used to optimize memory and increase the efficiency of compute resources. The number of cores must be even and we are leveraging two cores at a time for loss analytics. In addition, loss types are now separated into LOSS and AGGR_LOSS & EC.
This update is reflected in the Loss Analysis public API and in the user interface in two places in the Administration Console:
- HPC Resource Management
- Loss Analysis template
