Create new EBAF set

Global adjustment factors are contained in a CSV file in either a Factor by Area & LOB format or in a Factor by Event format. You can create the CSV with the global adjustment factors or you can download sample files and then edit them. You may want to download a sample of each to see what fields are included in the file; to do this, click in each Factor By column and click Download Sample.

Procedure

To add a new set of event-based adjustment factors (EBAF):

  1. Enter a unique name for the set.
  2. Optionally, enter a brief description of the set.
  3. In the Filter Models by Event Set list, select an event set.
  4. To assign factors from a global adjustment factors file:
    1. Select the check box next to the model that you want to include in the set.
    2. In the column for the format you want to use, Factor by Area & LOB or Factor by Event, click .
    3. Select Import File and then navigate to the shared network location (UNC) of the global adjustment factors file and select the file. The Factor column lists the selected file.
    4. Repeat this step to assign factors to additional models.
  5. To remove an assignment from a model, click in the Factor column and then select .
  6. Click to save the set.

Results

The new set is listed in the list of event-based adjustment factors.
