Companies are associated with exposure data.
- Area and subarea
  Touchstone Re supports area (lower resolution) and subarea (higher resolution) resolutions that vary by country and model.
- Exposure sets
  An exposure set is a collection of data with at least one exposure type.

    When exposures exist for a company the Exposure Set pane displays the aggregate accumulations for each country on a map in the lower half of the panel.
  - Market share calculation
    For market share exposures (Market Shares tab), open the Market Share Calculation pane (far right) to establish calculation settings.
  - LOBs and market shares
    The following countries support calculated market share based on Sums Insured/Risks/Premiums/Rates exposures for the current release of Touchstone Re.
  - Display currency
    When appropriate, you may choose to adjust the display currency, the currency conversion table (e.g., Verisk Default or Euro-based), and/or currency units (default is thousands).
  - India crop exposures
    India crop exposures are similar to other exposures (and may be associated with more than one company) but are affiliated with a crop season and have unique lines of business.
  - China agriculture exposures
    China agriculture exposures are grouped as the country "China Agriculture" and affiliated with crops, forests, livestock and have unique lines of business.
  - AM Best premiums
    AM Best premiums can be imported into Touchstone Re as a single data file.
- Maps
  Maps are used to view exposure data in context.
- Company loss sets
  Company Loss Sets are one type of company data.
Programs
A program is integral to a company and it's exposure data in Touchstone Re.
Portfolios
A portfolio is a group of treaties selected from across companies.
Import
Import exposure data from external sources into Verisk databases.
Export
Export exposure data, results, reports, and companies out of Touchstone Re.
Loss results
The Loss Results pane for a company lists all loss analyses that have been executed for the company.
Analysis
An analysis in Touchstone Re is a probabilistic analysis of your aggregated loss or exposure data.

Exposure sets

An exposure set is a collection of data with at least one exposure type.

Companies > [Company] > Company Data > All Exposure Sets

Often exposure data comes from a UNICEDE/2 file. Exposures are commonly brought into a company using the Import tool and managed in the Exposure Sets pane. Exposures can also be manually entered or copy/pasted.

Note:

India Crop exposure is a bit difference from other exposures.
Pandemic exposure is handled at the country-level.

In Touchstone Re one company can be associated with multiple exposure sets. Each exposure set, however, is unique to the company and may be associated with one or many programs within that company.

Exposure sets can be managed from the Exposure Sets pane:

Open Company Data:
- Select All Exposure Sets to view all exposure sets associated with this company. When a company has exposures associated with multiple years this is indicated in the Year column.
- Select Recent to view the more recent exposure sets associated with this company.
In the Exposure Sets pane:
- To set a default exposure set click the toggle in the Default column associated with the exposure set.
- Associate a new exposure set with this company.

Note that certain countries must have sub-area exposures to produce a loss.
