Associate a DFF with a model

Use a DFF to customize losses.

Admin > Administration Console > Event Set Management > Model Management

You can customize losses by importing a Damage Factor File (DFF) for association with a custom or Verisk model.

Procedure

  1. Select Custom Models or Verisk Models.

    If the model is a custom model, verify that the model is included in the Custom Models grid.

  2. Select the check box next to the target model.
  3. If you have not yet done so, create a DFF for the target model.
  4. In the Damage Factor File column, click .
  5. Select to start the import (which associates the DFF with the model).
  6. Navigate to the folder that contains the DFF that you want to use, select the DFF created for the target model, and then click Open.
  7. In the Damage Factor File column, click the Activity Monitor link to view the progress of the import.

    When the import is complete, the DFF name appears in the DFF column instead of the Activity Monitor.
