Managing a Legend

Procedure

To view and/or modify the legend for all the active layers:

  1. In the Map pane, click .
  2. Select the Legend tab.
  3. To change the properties of a legend item, click the item.

    The Symbology Editor dialog box appears.

  4. To edit various items (e.g. fill color, border thickness), depending on the item that you select, do one of the following:

    • Select a new color from the current palette, from a derived palette, or from a recent palette.

    • Click Advanced to manually edit colors.

  5. Click X to close the editor and apply your changes.
