Perils

AIR identifies certain hazards that can be measured against potential or actual insured losses. Peril availability will depend on exposure type, geographic area, and licensing.

Note:

The following perils are not available at this time in Touchstone Re: sprinkler leakage, tsunami, storm surge, precipitation flood, and nonCAT.

Note:

  • For the pandemic peril, the United States supports two levels (country and state) of resolution.

  • For the MPCI peril, the United States supports resolution at the state level; China supports resolution at both province and county level.
