Damage Factors
Damage factors are applied to catastrophe models to customize losses based on the experiences of a company. They can be applied to AIR models and custom models.
Damage Factor Files (DFF) are used in conjunction with AIR-supplied models and with custom models. You import them via the Model Management pane. When you import a DFF, the application validates the file to ensure that the areas in the file are supported and that years and days within each year are in ascending order.
