Active layers

Steps to view and/or modify a layer in a map that is set to active.

Companies > [Company] > Company Data > All Exposure Sets > [Exposure Set]: Map

Procedure

  1. In the Map pane, click .
  2. In the Map Layers dialog box, select the Active Layers tab.
  3. Select the check box of each layer you want to apply to the map.

    Clear the check boxes of each layer that you do not want to be active.

    As you select the layer, it appears on the map.

  4. To remove a layer, highlight the layer and then click the X (Remove active layer) next to it.
  5. To change the opacity of a layer, highlight the layer, enter a percentage or click the down arrow next to the field and move the slider.

    As you move the slider to the left, the cluster becomes more translucent, enabling you to see details behind the clusters.

  6. To zoom in on a layer, highlight it:
    1. Click the More options ellipsis (...).
    2. Click Zoom to layer.

      If the layer was not already selected, it is automatically selected.

  7. To reorder the layers in the list:
    1. Move the pointer to the left of the layer until it becomes a Move pointer and the Reorder prompt appears.
    2. Drag the layer to the target location in the list.
