Custom lines of business

A custom line of business (LOB) is a country-specific, user-defined LOB that maps to an Verisk-supported LOB.

Admin > Administration Console > Global Defaults > Custom Lines of Business

Custom lines of business (LOB) is one feature of the Advanced Loss Modification (ALM) (ALM) offering.

After defining a custom LOB, you can view sums insured data for the LOB, apply adjustment factors to the data, specify a coverage rate when you create a reinsurance program, and include losses for the custom LOB in analysis results.

Procedure

To define a custom line of business:

In the Custom Lines of Business pane, select a country for which you want to define custom LOBs.
In the country-specific pane (right-most pane):
1. Enter a custom name.
2. Select an LOB Mapping.
3. Click Save.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to define additional custom LOBs.
