Customize U.S. MPCI settings.

U.S. MPCI settings enable you to customize industry premium rates, SRA (Standard Reinsurance Agreement) sharing ratios, and SRA state groups used in post-SRA loss calculations executed via SQL reports and the Excel Data Cube.

Common buttons

Use these buttons (when applicable) and the parameters below to customize the settings.

U.S. MPCI Model Version

Select a model version. The list defaults to the most current model. Model version is important because, unlike with other models, the U.S. MPCI (Multiple-Peril Crop Insurance) model ties premiums directly to a model version.

Modify Industry Premium

Scales premium assumptions for each of the three funds (Buy, Cat, Revenue) by state for the selected model version.

To customize premium assumptions by state and fund, enter a new percentage into the cell for the target fund.

SRA Sharing Ratios

Specifies sharing ratios by all states or by state groups.

  • Loss Ratio % Pre-SRA: Pre-defined categories for SRA loss sharing.

  • Assigned Risk % All States: Risk assigned by loss ratio category for all states. To customize, enter a new percentage into the appropriate cell.

  • Commercial % Group 1 States: Risk assigned by loss ratio category for states groups 1, 2, or 3. To customize, enter a new percentage into the appropriate cell.

SRA State Groups

Each state is assigned to a group. To assign a state to a different group, select the group in the cell associated with the state.
