
Touchstone Re's native geography for the India Crop
model is State > District. Clusters (a group of districts within a state) are handled by
Touchstone Re only during import.
If exposure is imported at the cluster level, it is then disaggregated to the district
level during the import.
Procedure

Select .
In the Import dialog box, Import Type will
be set to Exposure - India Crop. Note that exposures for both crop seasons are included
in the import.

Select an input file to import.
This input file is a CSV file containing valid fields: state name, cluster assignment, 3-letter
currency code, units (ones, thousands, millions, billions), crop-specific LOB columns
(season and crop type).
The next fields (Peril, Data Type, and Currency & Units) are disabled and have default
settings.

Enter or select a company name to import the exposure into.

Enter or select an exposure set to assign the exposure to; overwrite or append as
appropriate.

Select an import year.

Click Verify.
If a warning message appears, click the message for information.

Click Import to import the data. If there is a problem, click
the warning message for details.

If applicable, click Close to exit AIR ImportExpress.
Results
The task appears in the Activity Monitor queue. After the activity is
complete, Touchstone Re opens the exposure
set.
