Import India Exposure

Import > India Disaggregation > Exposure

Procedure

To import India exposures for disaggregation:

  1. On the global menu, select Import > India Disaggregation.
  2. Select Exposure and then:
    1. Enter the name and network (UNC) location of the target input file, or click , navigate to the shared network location containing the input file, select the file, and then click Open.
    2. Verify that the peril is set to MPCI (Agri); other selections are not valid for India Disaggregation.
    3. Select a data type: Sums Insured or Premiums.
    4. Select currency & units.
    5. Select the currency rate table to use.
  3. In the Destination area:
    1. Enter a company name or select one from the list.
    2. Enter an Exposure Set name or select one from the list. If the exposure already exists, select Append over Overwrite.
    3. Select an import year.
  4. Optionally, clear the Close after Import check box if you want to continue importing items.
  5. Click Verify to check the data.

    If a warning message appears, click it for information.

  6. Click Import.

    All valid rows are disaggregated to county level when Disaggregate = 1 in the source file; a message box displays the number of counties added to the database.

  7. If applicable, click Close to exit ImportExpress.

Results

The task appears in the Activity Monitor queue.
