Filter Perils - China MPCI

Companies > [Company] > [Program] > Programs > Program Details: Terms

Procedure

By default, all perils associated with the China MPCI model are reflected in Touchstone Re loss estimates unless filtered out at the program level. For example, a particular contract might not cover one or more of these perils, or a particular peril such as drought is covered for only one crop but not for the other crops.

To filter out one or more perils:

  1. In the program layer, click associated with the Applies to Events cell.
  2. In the Applies to Events dialog box, click to add a filter.
  3. Enter a unique name for your filter.
  4. Select China MPCI from the Parameter drop-down menu.

  5. Select from the Condition drop-down menu: use = to include a peril or <> to exclude a peril.

Refer to important information in the topic Note on China MPCI Filter Behavior.

  6. Select a peril from the Value 1 drop-down menu; this peril is included or excluded depending on the condition selected in the previous step.
  7. Repeat steps above for additional parameters and/or filters.
  8. Click OK to exit.
