China MPCI custom ILF

Important:

  • The custom ILF file that is produced can be large; the location of this file is configured by your system administrator.

  • A new custom ILF file will not generate if a custom ILF generation is in process.

  • A new custom ILF file will not generate if a custom ILF is currently being used in an analysis.

  • Each custom ILF file overwrites any existing custom ILF file.

Procedure

To generate a custom ILF from custom policy condition csv file:

  1. From the global menu bar, select Tools > China MPCI Custom ILF.
  2. [OPTIONAL] Select Download Sample to download a blank template file for specifying the franchise and deductible terms.
    Note:

    Enter a valid shared network path (UNC) to the folder/file or the folder/file will not be found.

  3. In the China MPCI Custom ILF dialog box:
    1. Identify the Source file which contains the custom franchise and deductible terms.

      • This file must have an .csv extension.

      • Missing files are noted with a yellow triangle; missing file errors must be resolved.

      • A read-only summary is displayed in the File Summary on successful source file selection.

  4. Select Generate to generate a custom ILF.

    Track progress in the Activity Monitor.

    Use the resulting custom ILF by selecting the event set China Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (10K MPCI - Custom Policy Terms) when running a China MPCI analysis.
