CSV file for China MPCI custom ILF

Format requirements for this custom ILF include:

Column headers

The following header column is required in the following order.

  • Province

  • LOB

  • Crop-AllPerils-Franchise

  • Crop-AllPerils-Deductible

  • Drought-Franchise

  • Drought-Deductible

  • Flood-Franchise

  • Flood-Deductible

  • Wind-Franchise

  • Wind-Deductible

  • Frost-Franchise

  • Frost-Deductible

  • Heat-Franchise

  • Heat-Deductible

  • Livestock-Weather-Franchise

  • Livestock-Weather-Deductible

  • Livestock-Disease-Franchise

  • Livestock-Disease-Deductible

  • Livestock-Indemnity-Fraction-Culling

Input for each row

The input will be franchise and straight deductibles by province, crop, and peril. There is an All Perils option as well for crop.

  • Province: must be a valid China province.

  • LOB must be a supported crop (Corn, Cotton, Rapeseed, Rice, Soybean, Wheat, Barley, Peanut, Potato, Sugar, Rubber) or livestock type (Dairy Cattle, Other Cattle, Breeding Sow, Other Pig, Poultry, Sheep/Goat).

  • Deductibles columns must be a number between 0 and 1, inclusive.

Required

The following is required:

  • Header row

  • At least one body row.

  • Province + LOB combinations must be unique (e.g., cannot have two rows for Beijing Corn).

  • Peril-specific deductibles must be in pairs for a given peril. E.g., If Drought-Franchise is present, the Drought-Deductible must be also be present.)

  • For Livestock-Disease, all 3 are required (Franchise, Deductible, and Culling Fraction)

Each row must have the following:

  • LOB

    • If the LOB is a crop: one complete pair of terms for a crop sub-peril (e.g., Drought-Franchise + Drought-Deductible).

    • If the LOB is a livestock: one complete set of terms for a livestock sub-peril (i.e., Livestock-Weather-Franchise + Livestock-Weather-Deductible, OR, Livestock-Disease-Franchise + Livestock-Disease-Deductible + Livestock-Indemnity-Fraction-Culling).

  • Province

Optional for each row

  • If the LOB is a crop other franchise and deductible pairs (including AllPerils) are optional.

  • If the LOB is a livestock other sub-peril terms are options.
