AIRReference Database
Description

The AIRReference database is a central repository for reference information used by Touchstone. For example, when Touchstone  requires line of business codes, the application accesses the relevant tables in the database to obtain the codes.

In general, each table in the database includes columns for code values, the names of the codes, and descriptions of the codes.

The following tables apply only to Touchstone Re, but may appear in your installation for internal purposes:

Stores the geocode resources available in Touchstone.

The premium geocodes obtained by licensing this feature are restricted for use only within Touchstone and cannot be used outside of Touchstone. These are identified by the GeocoderCode = 'Syncsort' column in Touchstone AIRExposure, AIRReference and AIRResults databases. For the Export feature, these premium geocodes are either encrypted or removed during export to comply with these contractual restrictions. Direct extracts of premium geocodes from the Touchstone databases are also contractually prohibited.

Stores codes that represent the percentage of the walls in a building that consist of glass.

Stores the possible frequencies in which hail storms results in property damage. Used during the Hazard analysis.

Stores the possible the attributes of a hazard.

A reference table used to determine the possible attributes of a hazard.

Stores information regarding the possible hazard attribute types.

Stores the priority level options that can be assigned to an activity. This table is for reference only, the  job priority values are actually set in HPC job priority settings.

By default, jobs will be assigned “Normal Priority” (HPCJobPriorityID = 2000) and will be initiated in the order in which they are submitted if the following conditions are met:

  • Sufficient capacity is available
  • There are no other “High Priority” jobs waiting
  • The job has been scheduled to run “immediately” – or –
  • The date and time, if the job is scheduled, is after the user-selected run date and time if it was scheduled to run in the future

Jobs with “Top Priority” (HPCJobPriorityID = 4000) will be initiated if and when:

  • Sufficient capacity is available
  • There are no other “Top Priority” jobs waiting
  • The job has been scheduled to run “immediately” – or –
  • The date and time, if the job is scheduled, is after the user-selected run date and time if it was scheduled to run in the future

Jobs with “High Priority” (HPCJobPriorityID = 3000) will be immediately initiated if and when:

  • Sufficient capacity is available
  • There are no other “High Priority” jobs that were previously submitted and waiting
  • The job has been scheduled to run “immediately” – or  –
  • The date and time, if the job is scheduled, is after the user-selected run date and time if it was scheduled to run in the future

Jobs with “Low Priority” (HPCJobPriorityID = 1000) will be initiated if and when:

  • Sufficient capacity is available
  • There are no other “Normal” or “High” jobs waiting
  • The job has been scheduled to run “immediately” – or –
  • The date and time , if the job is scheduled, is after the user-selected run date and time if it was scheduled to run in the future 

Jobs that are already running will not be stopped and re-queued to start a higher priority job that is waiting.

Stores codes that represent the level of certification per the Institute for Business and Home Safety, which defines a structure's ability to withstand load resistance.

  • 139404 (earthquake shake, fire following, tsunami, sprinkler leakage, and landslide)

Stores codes that represent project phases, which indicate stages of construction.

Stores Public Protection Classification (PPC) codes.

ISO analyzes community data (for example, fire department, water supply, or emergency communications system data) and assigns a Public Protection Classification (PPC). PPCs range from 1 to 10. Class 1 generally represents superior fire protection, and Class 10 indicates that the area's fire suppression program does not meet ISO's minimum criteria.
