Known Issue 158

Aggregate Industry Exposure Database to database export for Mexico contains incorrect industry exposure values for some perils and LOBs.

Issue ID 158
Summary Aggregate Industry Exposure Database to database export for Mexico contains incorrect industry exposure values for some perils and LOBs.
Description When exporting the Aggregate Industry Exposure Database to database for Mexico, some of the Lines of Business (LOBs) contain the wrong data for perils wind, fire, and flood. This is because an Industrial LOB was inserted for these perils whereas it should only be supported for earthquake.

For wind, fire, and flood:

  • The Industrial LOB in the export contains the Auto LOB industry exposure
  • The Auto LOB in the export contains the take-up rate for Residential Buildings

The Residential Buildings, Residential Contents, and Commercial LOB data are correct for these perils.

All LOBs contain correct data for earthquake.

This impacts only the export Industry Exposure Database to database feature. Market Share Analysis using aggregate exposure in Touchstone Re is working as expected for all perils and LOBs.
