The Verisk Earthquake Model for New Zealand captures the effects of ground shaking, liquefaction, landslide, tsunami, and fire following earthquakes on risks located in New Zealand.

This model is a fully stochastic, event-based earthquake model which includes events derived from the seismicity associated with active crustal faults, smoothed background seismicity in regions with little to no historical earthquake activity, expected seismic activity within subduction zones, and distant tsunamigenic events.
