Ring Content in 5.1 and Later

You can filter the property exposure or workers' compensation data that you want to include in rings by defining peril and geocode match-level filters. ExampleFor a terrorism ring analysis, you may want to include only those locations in your exposure data where the geocode match level is "Exact Address,ZIP9 Centroid,Relaxed Address", but not where the geocode match level is "Postal Code Centroid", "City Centroid", or "County Centroid". You may want to do this if your data does not include accurate address information for postal, city, and county locations.

To create rings based on selected location options:

1.     After selecting Ring Accumulation as the analysis type, select Step 2 - Configure.

2.     On the Accumulate tab, in the Ring Content area, in the Peril list, select the peril filter.

3.     In the Geocode Match Level list, select the match level filter or filters.

The system displays a list of available filters with three list icons. Use the icons to: select all the match level filters, invert the current selection, or clear the filters ("Select None").
